Ropebraiders

Engineered cordage.Proven under load.

We braid HMPE, aramid and polyester into rope that holds when the spreadsheet says it shouldn't. Every construction ships with destructive test data, a batch number, and an engineer who will take your call.

01 · Method

Every construction is tested to destruction.

Not a sample from a good week. A length off the batch you are buying, spliced eye to eye and pulled until something in it lets go. The figure that survives that is the figure we publish.

02 · Load

The machine pulls at a constant rate.

Twelve strands of SK78 HMPE, taking up until the braid stops moving and the fibre starts carrying. The load cell reads to the pound, and it does not round.

03 · Limit

Past here it is only fibre.

The construction has given everything it has. Elongation flattens, the braid angle stops closing, and every further pound goes straight into the yarn.

Minimum break strength — Apex-12 · 1" (25.4 mm) · 12-Strand Single Braid

Destructive test, not a calculation. The published figure is the floor this batch cleared, and the certificate that says so ships with the rope — traceable to the fibre lot, the braider, the operator and the heat-set profile.

Why specify us

Rope is astructuralcomponent.

The industry has spent forty years selling it like hardware — a diameter, a colour, a price per foot. We treat it the way the rest of your structure gets treated: specified against a load case, tested, documented, and traceable.
01

Published, not implied

Every construction ships with the destructive test data behind its rated strength. Not a catalogue estimate, not a fibre-supplier number — our break test, on our machine, on your batch.

02

Traceable to the yarn

A batch number on the rope resolves to the fibre lot, the braider, the operator, the heat-set profile and the test certificate. If something goes wrong in the field, we can tell you exactly why.

03

Engineered per application

Diameter is the last decision, not the first. Tell us the load case, the environment, the terminations and the duty cycle, and we will specify against it — including telling you when a cheaper rope is the right rope.

Construction atlas

How a rope is braideddecides how it behaves.

Six constructions, six different sets of trade-offs. The geometry determines elongation, splice efficiency, torque behaviour and how the rope sits on a drum — long before fibre choice enters the conversation.

Start a specification

Tell us the load case. We'll tell you the rope.

Send us the working load, the environment, the terminations and the duty cycle. You will get a specification back from an engineer — with the reasoning, the design factor and the alternatives we rejected.
